About 150 Perth suburbs will receive NBN fibre upgrades over the next 18 months.

Regional Manager for Telstra Boyd Brown told 6PR Afternoons host Julie-Anne Sprague the upgrade would lead to faster NBN speeds.

“The NBN are still getting funding so they’ve got $2.4 billion, and what the NBN have announced is that until the end of 2025 they will upgrade an extra 10 million premises to high speed internet,” Mr Brown said.
