While the average wait time for category 3 elective surgery is 148 days, for some it’s significantly longer.
Fay Cullum spoke to 6PR Mornings host Gary Adshead to share her story on having to wait almost three years.
“I don’t want it to get to the point where it becomes an emergency” she said.
