New data from a WA property development organisation has revealed new land prices in Perth are at their highest since the 2007 economic boom.

Urban Development Institute of Australia WA executive director Sarah Macaulay told 6PR Afternoons host Julie-Anne Sprague the average price of a new block of land in Perth was now $305,177 which is a 25 per cent lift for 2024 compared to last year.

“We are seeing that you are getting less for your money now on average,” Ms Macaulay said.
