There are “no quick fixes” in road safety according to Road Safety Commissioner Adrian Worner.

Mr Worner told 6PR Mornings host Gary Adshead he didn’t believe the State government waiting until next month to host a road safety summit amid WA’s soaring road toll would be a “critical factor” in “shifting the dial”.

“We need to focus on what can we do differently that pays off in the long term but also has some short term impacts,” Mr Worner said.
