Jefferson Do, a 25-year-old autistic and non-verbal man, was left inside a car by his carer during 40 degree heat in January. His family have spoken out to thank the first responders who saved his life.

His sister, Fiona Do, spoke to 6PR Mornings host Gary Adshead on the traumatic incident and her brothers health.

“We are so happy and grateful that we had such beautiful support to help Jeff get out of the car,” she said.
