Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister Patrick Gorman didn’t attend a live sheep export ban rally in Canberra on Tuesday but claims he “always fronts up” even to “disagreements”.

6PR Perth Live host Oliver Peterson questioned the Perth MP on why no one from WA Labor turned up to meet with WA farmers who travelled across the Nullarbor to share their concerns with their local ministers.

“I don’t need to meet with farmers in Canberra, I’ve met with them in WA,” Gorman said.
