Perth has the worst tree canopy of any capital city in Australia, and WA has no state-wide tree protections.

Nick Cook, WA Tree Canopy Advocate, spoke to 6PR Afternoons host Chrissy Morrissy about why it’s so important to protect our trees.

“Eighty percent of the canopy sits on private property, and we need to protect that canopy,” he said.
