A group of students from Butler College have been stranded on Cocos Islands since Tuesday.

The Marine Studies group were due back last Tuesday, but have since had not one, two or three but FOUR flights either cancelled or diverted.

The group were flown to Christmas Island last night and are hopeful of making it back to Perth tonight.

Basil Zempilas spoke with two of the students’ concerned parents and asked, when have you been stranded?
