Abandoned trolleys are unsightly and dangerous, and their collection has been an ongoing issue, with over 70 trolleys collected by the City of Swan each week.
The City of Swan has decided that the onus should fall on retailers, introducing an innovative law.
Mayor Tanya Richardson explains to 6PR’s Gary Adshead what difference she hopes this law will make to the issue.
“This has been a huge problem for many, many years,” she said.
