Staff shortages in healthcare are already plaguing regional WA, and now regional nurses are concerned about an alarming number of incidents involving serious juvenile crime that have threatened their well-being, both at work and at home.

6PR’s Chrissy Morrissy spoke to Mem Beard, Liberal Member for North West Central, who says most healthcare workers love living in the regional community.

“What they don’t love is not feeling safe at work and not feeling safe in their homes, as is the case for everyone in these regional towns,” she said
