Public school education costs have soared by 35% compared to last year.

For a child starting school in 2025, their public school education is expected to cost $122,000.

Sarah McAdie from Futurity Investment Group explained to Perth Live host Oliver Peterson that independent schools have not experienced the same level of increase, but families are still facing a $300,000 bill for their child’s education—up 14% from last year.

‘Regardless of which sector you’re in, these are big numbers,’ she said.
