Holly Edwards-Smith from the 6PR Newsroom joined 6PR Breakfast to discuss a fire that has broken out at Belmont Racecourse.

The blaze broke out at approximately the 1300m mark on the outside of the track, on land belonging to developers next to the track.

Fire crews are actively working to extinguish the blaze and currently, there are no reports of injuries.

Trials scheduled for this morning have been cancelled and it remains unclear how the fire broke out.
