The Bluff Knoll Slot Race in Albany is touted as the richest horse race in the WA bush, but with Racing WA suspending all operations at Albany Racing Club due to financial issues, the pressure is on for the club to resolve its problems before the event on 16th March.

Perth Today host Simon Beaumont spoke to Alan Smith, Albany Racing Club President, to better understand the challenges the club faces.

“We’ve just got to sort out a few internal problems and a few finance issues,” he said.
