Word on the street is that the policy banning centre bounces in the WAFL has been reversed.

Jason, a 6PR listener, alerted Perth Live host Oliver Peterson to a memo from Dean Horsington, Umpiring WA, confirming the measured reintroduction of the bounce.

The memo indicates that the removal of centre bounces at WAFL level has impeded young umpires from mastering the skills required to be selected for the AFL.

Click PLAY to hear more about the decision.
