Fremantle Coach Justin Longmuir says a variation in his contract, which will see him continue with the club from next year onwards will benefit everyone.

Longmuir will switch to an open-ended employment agreement, once his current fixed-term contract expires at the end of the 2025 season.

He says he hopes the deal removes any potential distraction from the footy.
