A 6PR listener has recounted the alleged assault she suffered during her journey home from work in the afternoon, on a Transperth bus.

Megan explained to Perth Today host Simon Beaumont how the accused man was reportedly belligerent when he stood over her, threatened her life, slapped her, and stole her sunglasses.

“It’s escalating and I’m getting louder and louder, screaming and asking for someone to help me, which nobody did,” she said.
