Anthony Albanese has finally set the date for the Federal Election, with voters heading to the polls on 3rd May.

Nine Federal politics reporter Zac De Silva explained to 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl that it was a very strategic announcement, overshadowing Peter Dutton’s budget reply. However, it looks to be a close race.

“The margin has really narrowed between Peter Dutton and Anthony Albanese,” he said.
