End of the line for Holden
69 years of Australian made car manufacturing has come to an end with Holden closing it’s doors at it’s Adelaide plant.
Holden enthusiasts gathered at the plant in Elizabeth to farewell and thank staff in the final hours of operation.
At it’s peak in 2005, 780 cars were manufactured every day at the plant, that dropped to 175 a day over the last and final year.
Steve and Baz spoke with Wheels Magazine’s Daniel Gardner about the end of the Australian made Holden era and asked listeners what their favourite Holden has been?
