There are four levels of Home Care that can support for you:

Level 1

For people with basic care needs. A level 1 package gives you $22.35 a day in funding.

Level 2

For people with low level care needs. A level 2 package gives you $40.65 a day in funding.

Level 3

For people with intermediate care needs. A level 3 package gives you $89.37 a day in funding.

Level 4

For people with high care needs. A level 4 package gives you $135.87 a day in funding.

The costs of a Home Care Package

Recipients of Home Care Packages may be required to contribute the Basic Daily Fee of $10.17 from their basic age pension. Depending on a recipients income, they may be required to contribute to the cost of their care. This is known as the ‘income-tested care fee’ and is in addition to the Basic Daily Fee.
