Many residents in Australia will partake in citizenship ceremonies today.

The biggest citizenship ceremony happens in the City of Wanneroo. With 600 residents, from 44 countries becoming Australian citizens today.

Mayor Tracey Roberts spoke with Steve and Baz this morning, “There’s something very special about Australia Day and a lot of our residents specifically request that they have their citizenship ceremony on Australia Day…it’s very symbolic.”
