National day of action against bulling and violence

Simon Beaumont

Today is the National Day of Action against bullying and violence. Kids Helpline is calling for an increased focus on ‘why’ kids bully rather than technology used.

“We get call from young people between ages 5 – 25 and the majority of our callers who are calling about bullying fall in from age 5 – 17, so this is in the younger age group it is one of the primary issues that our kids are calling us about.” – Leo Hede, Kids Helpline Counselling Centre Supervisor spoke with Gareth Parker.
