The State Government has introduced new legislation which criminalises revenge porn.

Those found to distribute intimate images with out the consent of the person in that image could now face up to three years jail or a fine up to $18,000.

Attorney General John Quigley told Oliver Peterson the law doesn’t make it a criminal offence for consenting parties to exchange explicit material.
