UWA’s Dr Syed Gilani has created a new 3D facial recognition system.

The model could be used by any organisation or government agency for more accurate 3D facial recognition, it could improve security measures while potentially removing the need for personal passwords.

Dr Gilani also uses the 3D technology to diagnose sleep disorders, he spoke to Darren and Sue about the technology.
