It’ll be another tough year for our firies this summer with an above average fire risk remaining in place this season according to the 2018 Southern Australia Seasonal Bushfire Outlook released today. Fire and Emergency Services Commissioner Darren Klemm says it’s due to record winter rain and persistent dry soil and it could lead to bigger and more frequent bushfires.
