Tennis heavy-hitters Serena Williams and Roger Federer have been confirmed for Perth’s Hopman Cup, to be held later this year.

And in a tournament coup they will play each other for the first time ever when Team USA and Team Switzerland face off in a mixed doubles session on New Year’s day.
