20-point action plan to target at risk women and children
The State Government has announced that extra money will be committed to a new plan to address family and domestic violence across WA.
The 20-point action plan will target at risk women and children, and particular community areas, in a bid to reduce rates of violence.
The State Opposition has indicated it supports the measures, but warns the plan won’t work unless more money is included.
Gary Adshead spoke to Child Protection Minister Helen Morton and Opposition spokeswoman Simone McGurk on 6PR Mornings.
