Cats confident on keeping Kelly
Geelong CEO Brian Cook has been questioned on the Cat’s post-bye slump in form.
The football manager says Geelong’s declining momentum is unrelated to the bye and believes club’s have started to work out the Cat’s playing style.
“They’re putting a lot more players behind the ball and they’re closing up our space around the stoppages.”
He also spoke about Tim Kelly’s plans for the future.
“We’ve made an offer which has various options to it, we are hoping he stays and are confident he will stay.”
The football manager says the 25 year old has developed as a player significantly since joining the Cats and believes the West Australian can now cope with being tagged by opposition sides.
