West Coast coach Adam Simpson has asked for patience after his team was thumped by Fremantle in Sunday’s Western Derby. 

The Eagles lost by 30 points but conceded the first 11 goals of the match and were never in the contest. 

They were well beaten in the midfield with Lachie Neale claiming the Ross Glendinning medal while being well supported by Nat Fyfe, Stephen Hill and Danyle Pearce.
