Health Department figures show more than 20 children a week are having rotten teeth pulled at Perth Children’s Hospital.

Almost 50 percent of children in WA present with some form of tooth decay before the age of five.

Specialist paediatric dentist at Perth Children’s Hospital Dr Jilen Patel says they’re also seeing a significant increase in children presenting to emergency with tooth-related issues.
