Family environment important in hubs: Josh Kennedy
AFL clubs went back to training yesterday and some of the players were sporting new looks on the training track.
West Coast Eagles’ veteran forward Josh Kennedy was looking trim and had trimmed his hairstyle as well, but he put it down to losing a bet.
“It was either that [shaving his head] or pay some money; and I took the tight-arse option,” Kennedy joked with Steve and Baz.
The Eagles are set to head to the Gold Coast in an interstate hub in preparation for the season re-start, but the father of two isn’t sure if his family will join him there.
“Biggest thing being away in a hub is your family environment. Depending how long we’re away for and depending what certain people’s needs are in their household it’s so different.
“It’s just making sure that there are a lot of options for guys to have that family environment if they need to,” Kennedy told 6PR Breakfast.
