Despite the confusion over its pronunciation Quinoa (kin-whah) is becoming a boom crop for WA farmers. 

This years harvest will top 1000 tonnes which is an almost 8 fold increase on last years harvest.

Quinoa has been labelled market gold by the grain industry.
