Melburnians now have a strict lockdown to adhere to as well as a 5Km radius limit and wearing a mask outside.

Iconic Melburnian and Australian basketball legend Andrew Gaze shared his experience as Melbourne heads into further lock down restrictions.

“I’ve certainly never experienced anything like this,” Gaze told 6PR Breakfast.

“It’s very, very difficult. A lot of our friends and some of our family members have businesses, their businesses are on the brink.
“But as much as businesses are going through some tough times, when lives are at stake, some of us have to make some extraordinary sacrifices.”
