15,000 serves of hot chips, 8000 pies and sausage rolls, two-and-a-half tonnes of beef, and 1500 kegs of beer.

They are some of the eye-watering numbers that Optus Stadium will deliver on Grand Final day next Saturday.

It will all be served by around 2500 staff, of which some positions still have not been filled

“We’re getting close to where we need to be for Grand Final day,” Optus Stadium CEO Mike McKenna told Millsy.

“We’ve probably got a few hundred shifts left.

“Mainly people who have got experiences as chefs or cooks … and also people who have experience in serving and function rooms.”
