Perth tops heart health
The risk of heart failure in Perth has reduced by 15 per cent and the only capital city at the rate of “very low”, but thousands are still effected by heart failure.
Professor Gerry O’Driscoll, a cardiologist, told Steve and Baz about the significance of the Bee Gees when it comes to heart failure.
He also told 6PR Breakfast about a new drug that makes it easier for the heart to pump and says its “been shown to improve survival rates and reduce the need for admission to hospital for the people with heart failure.”
