West Coast star Josh Kennedy is back training at the club and ready to face Fremantle in Sunday’s round three western derby after a COVID cluster forced the Eagles to make 14 changes for its game against North Melbourne on the weekend.

“Even though we didn’t win, it was pretty cool to watch,” Kennedy said of seeing the club’s new debutants.

West Coast was buoyed by its performance against the Kangaroos with a makeshift team and Kennedy said the club had high hopes of a win, with a chunk of those missing on Sunday expected back this week,

“We’ll get a few players back… hopefully we don’t lose a few,” he told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast during his regular Tuesday morning segment.
