Behind Party Lines: Is bullying a buzzword or reality in Canberra

Federal Member for Burt Matt Keogh and Federal Member for Canning Andrew Hastie joined Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings for their weekly segment Behind Party Lines in the lead up to the federal election.

Mr Hastie and Mr Keogh debate the sensitive topic of the Canberra political fishbowl and recent allegations of bullying leveled against Prime Minister Scott Morrison and other leaders in the Federal Labor party.

“I think Scott Morrison’s behaviour and character is catching up with him,” Mr Keogh said in reference to recent comments by the Prime Minister’s own colleagues.

“Can I say in my experience with the Prime Minister, I’ve never seen him bully anyone – and I’ve worked with quite a few bullies in my time, so I reject that outright,” Mr Hastie said in defence.
