A campaign led by Australian professional women on Friday aims to pressure Scott Morrison and Anthony Albanese to exclude transgender women from single-sex sports and women-only spaces.

WA businesswoman and former Girl Guides WA CEO Karyn Lisignoli told Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings the “Respect My Sex If You Want My Vote” campaign urged voters to support “sex-based” rights for women.

“We aren’t looking to exclude anyone, we are looking to include and make sure we respect the hard fought for rights for women” Ms Lisignoli told Bartlett.

“It is very much a campaign that’s designed to bring awareness to Australians who do not realise how far the radical trans-rights agenda has got, such that unfortunately it is compromising the rights of women and even denying science.”
