Liam Bartlett: We’re losing the plot analysing the language of our leaders

6PR Mornings host Liam Bartlett has questioned what passes as logic surrounding some of the commentary during this election campaign.

“I’m not talking about complex policy discussions, I’m simply referring to every day casual conversations, or exchanges, or what passes as everyday languages, that is somehow being twisted to the point of being beyond the pale,” he said on Friday.

Bartlett referred to a question in the recent leaders debate on cuts to NDIS funding, and the response from Prime Minister Scott Morrison about being “blessed” to have two children without disabilities.
