$40 million Rottnest resort overhaul to be ‘accessible to everyone’
One of Australia’s leading wine entrepreneurs and now resort developer has told 6PR Mornings about the 20-month project.
Peter Fogarty told Liam Bartlett that the $40 million project is designed to meet all types of tourists.
“We want to ensure that what we build is something that is accessible to everyone,” he said.
“It can’t just be $1000 a night type rooms; It’s got to be across the range.”
Mr Fogarty explained that his love for Rottnest emerged by going to the island as a child with his family and passing on that tradition.
“It is part of WA and is something that is loved by everyone,” he said.
