Toyota compensation: Australia’s largest-ever class-action lawsuit
Thousands of Australians who were sold faulty Toyotas will be able to apply for compensation from today.
More than 264,000 owners of certain Toyota HiLux, Toyota Prado and Toyota Fortuner vehicles were sold with faulty diesel filters between 2015 and 2020.
Matt McKenzie from Gilbert and Tobin Law Firm told 6PR Mornings that those affected will be contacted soon.
“People who acquired the relevant vehicles during the relevant period starting today are going to start to receive court approved notice
“which will inform them about the judgement and the need to register their interest to receive any compensation to which they are entitled.”
