ATAGI set to make a call about a fourth COVID vaccine dose
ATAGI is yet to make a decision on whether they will recommend a fourth dose of COVID vaccine for under 65’s.
Mark Butler, Federal Health Minister, told Oliver Peterson that no decision was made today as further deliberations may be needed.
“Look I think there is a strong case across the health system for expanding eligibility for a fourth dose,” he said on Perth Live.
“I’d be very surprised if it wasn’t dropped. It might not be for everyone in the community as there is still not a great deal of evidence yet for very young people – but certainly for those middle aged groups.”
