Breakfast host Gareth Parker has paid tribute to cancer advocate and Passione Gourmet Deli owner David Infirri, who died on Tuesday after a shock diagnosis of bowel cancer in March 2019 at age 38.

Infirri, a Cancer Council WA ambassador for the past four years, was featured as a West Aussie Great on Breakfast back in May, telling Parker then how he spoke every day with his three-year-old daughter about how he would dance at her wedding.

“On behalf of everyone at 6PR and anyone who’s had anything to do with him all of his customers, I’d just like to pass on our condolences to his wife Marlene and his two little children, because they’re facing a future without a man who meant so much to them,” Parker said.
