Eating for a Living with Rob Broadfield: Compulsory service charges

Article image for Eating for a Living with Rob Broadfield: Compulsory service charges

Rob Broadfield, professional food critic, joined Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings for his regular Monday morning chat, Eating for a Living.

This week Rob spoke about a diner which blasted a high-end Australian restaurant after spotting something unexpected on their receipt.

“We found no service charges here in WA, but you can bet it’s on its way if it’s in the Eastern states,” he said.

He also discussed having to download an app to order a coffee/meal at a cafe instead of being able to go to the counter.
