The fundraising is underway for this year’s Drive for MND, with a double pass to the 2023 AFL Derby plus dinner with Oliver Peterson and Mark Whiteman from Ray White Real Estate up for grabs.

Perth Live is broadcasting Friday’s show from Northam’s Duke’s Inn, as part of the drive, for an evening of fundraising and entertainment with a live charity auction, silent auction and raffle on the night. 

Professor Merrilee Needham, a neurologist from WA Health, told Oly why the annual charity drive is so important.

“It’s been a game changer for us in WA… it’s supporting local researchers,

“The team are developing genetic therapies to make a tangible difference to this devastating fatal disease.”

In 2022 the Drive for MND is celebrating its 10th anniversary with an ‘Avon Adventure’ where they will explore the Wheatbelt and surrounds from Friday, 11th until Sunday, 13th November 2022.
