A week of much trepidation for parents is coming… with Leavers Week officially beginning on Monday.

South West District Superintendent Geoff Stewart told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast the week was so big now it was treated as a major event, with plenty of police on patrol to ensure everyone’s safety.

“The event is so organised, there’s so many professionals and volunteers that are going to be involved in looking out for these people,” he said.

“All the facilities will be ready to receive anyone who needs any help.”
