Shadow Energy Minister, Ted O’Brien has launched the ‘Time to Talk Nuclear’ website that’s calling on Australian’s to have their say on whether nuclear energy should be a part of Australia’ future energy mix.

“I think it’s about time that we have a national conversation about nuclear energy,

“I have been looking at this for some years and if there is one huge prerequisite for nuclear energy in Australia, it is that the Australian people give their consent and when you extend that logic, you really have to put Australian people at the centre of that conversation,” Ted O’Brien told Perth Live host Oliver Peterson.

The survey is aimed at understanding what Australian people think of nuclear energy, the benefits and their concerns.
