The West Australian hospitality industry is short of around 13,000 staff this festive season.

The shortage is across all sectors including restaurants, hotels and bars across WA.

Australian Hotels Association CEO Bradley Woods told 6PR Mornings host Gary Adshead it is a long-term issue.

“What we are working on is a campaign to attract workers,” said Mr Woods.
