Subiaco Library launches banned book exhibition

This December and January the Subiaco Library is putting on an exhibition of books which have previously been banned by schools, communities and politicians.
Some of the books which have been banned or challenged include Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Where the Wild Things Are and Harry Potter.
Manager of cultural services for the City of Subiaco Polly Banks told 6PR Afternoons host Jo McManus the exhibition is all about promoting freedom of speech.
