Medical professionals warning against travelling to Turkey for hair transplants
Hair loss is something 50 per cent of men over 40 suffer with.
While there are treatments for hair loss, it’s costly which leaves many people searching for an alternative.
Dr Russell Knudsen hair transplant doctor told 6PR Perth Live people should not seek these treatments in Turkey.

“The government is in on the game,” said Dr Knudsen.
“The Turkish government is making so much money out of cosmetic surgical tourism… governments are sponsoring clinics.” He continued.
Joel Fraser is a hair loss patient who is travelling to Turkey for a hair transplant.
Despite the potential risks Mr Fraser is determined to get the treatment.
“I’m still airing on the side of caution, but I’m going to get it done,” said Mr Fraser.
