A new report has been released detailing why people commit burglary, what they’re looking and how they choose their victims.

Senior Lecturer of Criminology and Psychology at ECU Dr Natalie Gately told 6PR Perth Live burglars generally target homes with easy entry points.

“They’re looking for easy-to-access homes,” said Dr Gately.

“Hide your valuables.” she continued.
